Hello guys, im using windows vista ultimate32 bit on an AMD 3000+ 64bit processor and 2.5GB RAM. And when i look at taskmanager my cpu usage is constantly 100% alwayz.i scanned for spywares n virusses with bitdefender n counterspyy still no luck. After 5 minutes of use, my computer slows to a halt. Task Manager shows 100% CPU usage but no individual application is using CPU time. I opened Resource Monitor which shows that 'searchprotocolhost.exe' has 100% CPU time. I went into C:/windows/system32 to delete file but i cant do it. I have used multiple anti-spyware, anti worm, antivirus checkers, and problem persists.
